Blink! How can it be a year already? Or 2 or 3? Your babies grow up so fast don’t they! Thank goodness that we have photography to be able to capture these moments forever. When it’s time to celebrate your little one’s birthday, you absolutely must book in a cake smash here at my Townsville studio! A cake smash honestly is one of the best days out that you will have with your little one at this age. Your baby definitely isn’t the only one who is going to have some fun!

HOW DOES CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY WORK?

Cake smash sessions are traditionally held to celebrate a baby’s first birthday, but as you’ll see in my image gallery – any age is a great age to photograph smashing cake! We’ll work together to design a colour scheme and outfit selections before your session. There’s so much we can do and designing the look of the smash is half the fun!

If your baby isn’t so much into cake or you’d like to try something different, that’s fine! There are lots of great alternatives that we can look at. Before your session I’ll be in touch with a detailed welcome guide that talks you through the best way to prepare your baby before the day. Remember, for many little ones it might be the first time they try cake so preparation is key!

Cake smash sessions cam be held here in my Kirwan studio or we can work together to decide on a great outdoor location. We are spoilt for choice here in Townsville with all of the beautiful parks and water view areas to select from! You’ll absolutely love the images we capture during the smash and the splash in the tub at the end … adorable!
