Hello I am Ann-Maree

I am a mother, a wife and grandmother to a gorgeous fur baby! I was born and raised in Townsville, leaving a few times but seem to always come back to where my family are. North Queensland is a great sunny place to live.

I began my photography career many moons ago learning to develop photos in a dark room.  I was an artist for many years, doing a few logo and brochure designs for companies and working in an office.

It wasn’t until I met my second husband that I could delve into my love of photography and make it my full-time passion and career. I often say to clients that I never feel like that I am at work or that I am giving up a weekend. I love what I do so much, as the saying goes – find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life. Well that is me. How lucky am I.

Photos are especially important to me as they are our family’s memories, our family’s stories. I will never turn away a request for a family member to join a session. We need photos of our family.

My clients come back time and time again for the experience they felt whilst having their session. I often hear, “wow that’s was so much fun I wasn’t expecting that”, or “gee that was much easier than I thought it would be”, or “I am so surprised aat how my children/husband reacted to you, I thought it was going to be difficult”.

I hold very relaxed easy going sessions, letting children be themselves, run and explore, stop for a cuddle ( that’s when I zoom in and catch those gorgeous photos) Have a chat and a laugh, it’s that easy, and I keep it affordable.
